Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnne Kymes is also one of two most recent Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is a popular American bluegrass and country singer. She began to work in the world of music in the early years of her life. When she was 10 years old, she took part in local competitions and made her first album. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and released her first solo album in 1987. She was asked to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album in the group in the year 1989.
