Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on the 28th of April, 1967). She started her acting career when she was as a teenager. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She is the youngest of three children. While she was a kid she sang in nightclubs, and then went on to sing. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School, at 13 years old, she was a drama student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. Her birth date was April 28th, 1967 in Brookfield, Connecticut. Kari is the daughter of a German-American father and a German-American mother. Kari was born into the family with four children. Kari was a nightclub singer as teens, sneaking out of the home to perform. Kari was 13 when she began her acting lessons at Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari began acting when she was an teen, and her first TV appearance was on 1987 MTV's Remote Control.
