Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney (born November 19th, 1959)[2] is an American actor. It is well-known for her roles in a wide range of types of screen and stage during her career of three decades. Janney has received various accolades such as an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award along with the Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in the midst of nominations for 2 Tony Awards. Born in Boston and born in Dayton, Ohio, Janney earned a grant to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after her graduation from Kenyon College. Janney received credit for several small and rare film and television appearances through the years. Her most famous performance as C. J. Cregg in The West Wing of NBC The West Wing (1999-2006) earned her four Primetime Emmy Awards. The actress was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Outstanding Guest Actress as a Drama Series, for playing Margaret Scully's character on Masters of Sex.
